Jill: I have a confession to make.

Lill: Shoot.

Jill: I deleted last week’s episode of The Vampire Diaries from the PVR.

Lill: Wha…why? What the hell were you thinking?! It’s a solid preternatural-based TV show that rescued me from the long and debilitating grief following Buffy’s departure – and this is the hottest season yet!

Jill: We’re in our late twenties Lill, we shouldn’t be watching bad teen drama’s anymore.

Lill: Pfff…says you! I’ll have you know that VD is the highest rated show on the CW which hardly classifies it as ‘bad’. Besides, most of the actors are closer to our age and technically they’re vampires, therefore already hundreds of years older.

Jill: *Crosses arms* And still I’m not convinced.

Lill: *Cocks eyebrow* So does this mean you’re giving up Gossip Girl then?

Jill: Ah…well…gee…um the Valentine’s Day episode is this week…

Lill: Right – ‘Hi there Pot, I’m your good buddy Kettle!’

About Lill and Jill

We are Lillian and Jillian; best friends and roommates. We blog to capture the seemingly trivial moments of thought and expression that make us smile; the often-times ridiculous way we see the world and how we live in it. We ask that you think well of us despite our propensity for drinking saccharine-laden alcoholic beverages, affection for 90′s boy-bands, and regular inappropriateness.

Agreed! The boys are described as ‘eternal adolescents’ – we sure don’t remember the boys of our adolescence looking old enough to buy Marlboros and stand in for the Schick Quattro man…BUT we appreciate the show for what it’s worth 😉
