*Jill calls Lill at work*

Jill: What have you been doing? I’ve been calling since lunch.

Lill: I was getting a pen.

Jill: …It took you four hours to sign out a new pen from your stationary inventory?

Lill: *Clears throat* Procurement of a writing instrument is a highly involved process falling under Workplace Activities 5HB-N. It requires submission of two separate request forms with five signatures and a statement of authorization from the Senior Director.

Jill: Wow, sounds like a bureaucratic orgasm.

Lill: We’re trying to cut red tape but HR still hasn’t found the scissors.

About Lill and Jill

We are Lillian and Jillian; best friends and roommates. We blog to capture the seemingly trivial moments of thought and expression that make us smile; the often-times ridiculous way we see the world and how we live in it. We ask that you think well of us despite our propensity for drinking saccharine-laden alcoholic beverages, affection for 90′s boy-bands, and regular inappropriateness.
