*Lill calls Jill at work*

Jill: I’m actually doing work Lillian – I encourage you to do the same, you may find the hours pass more quickly.

Lill: You think reading every major national newspaper and surfing three international news websites in addition to eBay, PerezHilton and Slashdot isn’t work? Is it my fault that I can finish an 8 hour workday in 45 minutes? IS IT?!

Jill: *Sigh* Have you cleaned up your inbox?

Lill: It was clean on Monday…

Jill: Desktop?

Lill: Tuesday…

Jill: Gone for lunch?

Lill: Twice…

Jill: Bathroom?

Lill: Four times and on two different floors…

Jill: Gone outside for a walk?

Lill: Reluctantly yes – but I only got as far as the hotdog vendor at the corner…

Jill: Maybe you should speak to your manager about increasing your workload.

Jill: Well?

Lill: You think I need more work?! But I’ve just been telling you how hard I’m already working!

Jill: *Sigh* Moments like these make me so very grateful we don’t share an employer – goodbye Lillian.

Lill: Wait! This call only took up four minutes!!

About Lill and Jill

We are Lillian and Jillian; best friends and roommates. We blog to capture the seemingly trivial moments of thought and expression that make us smile; the often-times ridiculous way we see the world and how we live in it. We ask that you think well of us despite our propensity for drinking saccharine-laden alcoholic beverages, affection for 90β€²s boy-bands, and regular inappropriateness.

3 o’clock=”The Make It or Break It” hour. Will we survive til 5 or will we lose our sanity? Such an hour of uncertainty… 😦
