Lill: I’m getting a glass of water do you want anything?

Jill: No I’m good – but you’ll have to empty the drying rack in order to reach a glass.

Lill: Hmph, says you.

Jill: *Sigh* You really should just put them away Lill, they’ve been sitting there for two days now.

Lill: Where would the challenge be in that? Besides I enjoy playing Jenga with our dishes.

*Lill carefully attempts to slip a glass out from under 1,758,389 dry dishes*

Lill: Huzzah! Got it!

Jill: *Chuckle* Well done.

Three hours later…

CRASH! BANG! SHATTER!

Lill: Eep…

Jill: *Sigh*

About Lill and Jill

We are Lillian and Jillian; best friends and roommates. We blog to capture the seemingly trivial moments of thought and expression that make us smile; the often-times ridiculous way we see the world and how we live in it. We ask that you think well of us despite our propensity for drinking saccharine-laden alcoholic beverages, affection for 90â€ēs boy-bands, and regular inappropriateness.

Sounds like my apartment. I lost a couple of my favorite glasses playing that game. Maybe we’ll learn eventually, but I doubt it. 🙂

Do you run the sweeper over that one piece of something repeatedly hoping it will be collected without ever bending over to actually touch it?

If dishes were meant to be put away, they would have legs to get there by themselves!

    Don’t give me that look! I’m a guy, that’s how I think!
