Jill: Lill I’m heading out to the market, do you need anything?

Lill: Crackers.

Jill: Really? But I swear I saw a box or two in the cupboard.

Lill: Perhaps…but I need more.

*Jill looks in cupboard*

Jill: Good lord woman! Have you started hoarding cracker boxes?! There’s at least four in here and they’re all half full!

Lill: Yes but I cannot eat them.

Jill: Why the hell not? There’s absolutely nothing wrong with them!

Lill: Untrue – they are nearly stale and I like my crackers fresh.

Jill: *Waving arms* But you JUST opened these – they are perfectly edible, they are not stale!

Lill: Yes, but they are also no longer fresh – nearly stale crackers make the cheese so very unhappy and you’re not going to force me to eat depressed cheese are you Jillian?

Jill: *Sigh* One box or two.

Lill: Two please!

About Lill and Jill

We are Lillian and Jillian; best friends and roommates. We blog to capture the seemingly trivial moments of thought and expression that make us smile; the often-times ridiculous way we see the world and how we live in it. We ask that you think well of us despite our propensity for drinking saccharine-laden alcoholic beverages, affection for 90â€ēs boy-bands, and regular inappropriateness.

  1. Nowan Zen says:

The boxes can be turned into a pretty awesome fort! Or an odd hat. Or perhaps a clunky pair of slippers.

They don’t tend to make good frisbees or spare car tires or antenna or earmuffs for the cat (cat’s don’t appreciate the effort).

    • Lol, as long as they vacate the cupboard I really don’t care what Lill does with them (a house for the pigeons should be top of the list I say) – and you should post these reusable suggestions on Pinterest – the slippers in particular 😉 …J

  2. sadly, Ive done this 😉
