Lill: Why haven’t you been writing more posts?

Jill: I’ve had a busy start to the week.

Lill: Pfft…busy usually means ‘I think the other things I’m doing are more important and so I’m choosing not to make time‘. You’re not too busy – you’re lazy Jillian, so very, very lazy…

Jill: *Pleading* But Lill! I’ve really have had a busy week – work has been psychotic, I’m still trying to get to the gym and make time for our friends, not to mention looking after the apartment and meals!

Lill: Tsk, tsk…Stop, just stop – I’m ashamed of you and your lack of commitment. I can hear no more.

Jill: *Crosses arms* Hmph, well Lillian why haven’t YOU been writing more posts?

Lill: I’ve had a busy start to the week.

About Lill and Jill

We are Lillian and Jillian; best friends and roommates. We blog to capture the seemingly trivial moments of thought and expression that make us smile; the often-times ridiculous way we see the world and how we live in it. We ask that you think well of us despite our propensity for drinking saccharine-laden alcoholic beverages, affection for 90′s boy-bands, and regular inappropriateness.

  1. I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your posts! You always make me smile.

The posts remind me of a log book my roommates and I kept while we shared a condo in university. We rarely saw each other, so used it to communicate. The writing were often quite twisted… I wish I had that notebook. Come to think of it, suddenly I’m worried about whose hands the books might still be in..

    • This made my morning – cheers 🙂
We have a whiteboard in the front hall – it’s usually covered in obscenities and lewd sketches but occasionally a witty thought or comment will appear I wish we could capture (sometimes we do in a post which is nice) but yeah – the beauty with the whiteboard is that our twisty indiscretions usually get erased. I’m intrigued by these missing log books though…if you find them I hope you’ll share ;-)…L
