Jill: What are you doing for Mothers Day?

Lill: Going to Gran’s. I won’t bother asking what you’re up to – I know they don’t let your mother out on weekends anymore.

Jill: My mother isn’t institutionalized Lillian.

Lill: *Raises eyebrow* And this is why your father affectionately calls his home ‘The Asylum’.

Jill: He’s just complaining because he finds my mother high maintenance.

Lill: …As well as neurotic, manipulative, over-dramatic, emotionally unbalanced…

Jill: *Sigh* Which is why we’ll be doing what we do every year, dinner and a show.

Lill: But I thought you usually stayed in?

Jill: We do.

About Lill and Jill

We are Lillian and Jillian; best friends and roommates. We blog to capture the seemingly trivial moments of thought and expression that make us smile; the often-times ridiculous way we see the world and how we live in it. We ask that you think well of us despite our propensity for drinking saccharine-laden alcoholic beverages, affection for 90ā€²s boy-bands, and regular inappropriateness.
