*Lill calls Jill at work*

Lill: So I get to the office this morning after being sick last week and what do I see staring back at me on my desk? A burden.

Jill: Erm…you did miss a day of work – a heavier than expected workload today sort of makes sense…

Lill: I walked around the office trying to figure out who hated me, who the hell would send such an unrelenting plague to my cubicle?

Jill: *Sigh* You really need to start taking responsibility for your own work Lill….

Lill: All I could think of was ‘there goes my free wielding days of running in and out of the office without a care in the world, there goes me taking off for a week without having to worry about anything’.

Jill: I take it management has assigned a massive new project?

Lill: No, some bastard gave me a potted plant – I’ve named it Victor.

About Lill and Jill

We are Lillian and Jillian; best friends and roommates. We blog to capture the seemingly trivial moments of thought and expression that make us smile; the often-times ridiculous way we see the world and how we live in it. We ask that you think well of us despite our propensity for drinking saccharine-laden alcoholic beverages, affection for 90â€ēs boy-bands, and regular inappropriateness.

Couldn’t you use it to hide behind? Feed Victor well and have him grow fast. Perfect office hide! 😉 I just nominated you for the Liebster Blog Award! Congrats! http://inspiringandhealthyrunninginlondon.wordpress.com/2012/05/28/awards/
