*Jill walks into the kitchen for breakfast*

Jill: What are you eating Lillian?

Lill: *Muffled* Red velvet cupcakes left over from our Canada Day celebrations.

Jill: *Raises eyebrow* Not exactly the healthiest of breakfast selections.

Lill: Perhaps not, but what I’m lacking in dietary discretion I’m making up for in patriotism.

Jill: *Sigh* Oh Canada.

About Lill and Jill

We are Lillian and Jillian; best friends and roommates. We blog to capture the seemingly trivial moments of thought and expression that make us smile; the often-times ridiculous way we see the world and how we live in it. We ask that you think well of us despite our propensity for drinking saccharine-laden alcoholic beverages, affection for 90′s boy-bands, and regular inappropriateness.

  1. What’s wrong with red and white cupcakes for breakfast? We’ve made a national breakfast food of fried cakes.. cupcake seems healthy in comparison.

I don’t have any red velvet cupcakes, but I raise a chocolate cake doughnut to toast your tasty breakfast choice, Lill. (We had a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts sitting on the table, so it was too convenient not to just eat some for breakfast!)

    • Oh how right you are – doughnuts (especially the massive sugary kind) are my favourite breakfast food – I heartily approve and thank you for the salute :-)…L
